Heuston, Northwood-Blyth and The Inspired Unemployed lead line-up at Celebrity 1 Point Padel

Rising international actor and star of the hit television show Off Campus, Josh Heuston, and one of Australia’s most successful international models, Bambi Northwood-Blyth, will front an exciting line-up of star-studded celebrities set to put their padel skills to the test at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday 15 August.

The duo will join The Inspired Unemployed’s Matt Ford and Jack Steele, Australian tennis legend and gold Logie nominee Todd Woodbridge, international actress Geraldine Viswanathan, two-time US Open champion Pat Rafter and Australian Open 1 Point Slam winner Jordan Smith.

More celebrity participants will be announced in the coming days, with fans encouraged to stay tuned for further additions to the star-studded field.

Celebrity 1 Point Padel will see stars go head-to-head in a fast-paced format where every match is decided by a single point, creating a fun, unpredictable spectacle for fans while introducing audiences to the world's fastest-growing sport.

"The 1 Point Padel format will be a blast,” former world No.1 Pat Rafter said. “It totally puts the pressure on, and you never know what will happen next. With padel – because you can use the glass walls as well as the court and the ball never really goes out – the points can go longer so I’m sure we’ll see some amazing rallies.”

“Celebrity 1 Point Padel is designed to be fun, competitive and entertaining, bringing together personalities people know and love from across Australia,” Padel Australia chair Tom Larner said.

"We're thrilled to have such an exciting mix of talent already confirmed and we're looking forward to revealing even more familiar faces as we count down to the Padel Invitational presented by UBS."

The preliminary line-up brings together some of Australia's most recognisable personalities.

Josh Heuston

Josh Heuston is one of Australia's fastest-rising actors, currently starring in the global streaming hit Off Campus. Best known for his roles in Heartbreak High and Dune: Prophecy, Heuston has become a leading figure in entertainment, fashion and popular culture.

Bambi Northwood-Blyth

Bambi Northwood-Blyth is one of Australia’s most successful international supermodels and Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes Ambassador. She’s featured on the covers of leading fashion titles including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and V Magazine and has walked for fashion houses including Balenciaga and Chanel.

The Inspired Unemployed

Matt Ford and Jack Steele, creators of The Inspired Unemployed, have built one of Australia's most successful comedy and entertainment brands. With millions of followers, sold-out live shows and hit television projects, the duo have become household names through their uniquely Australian humour and relatable content. Both passionate about padel, they can’t wait to show off their racquet skills.

Todd Woodbridge

Todd Woodbridge is a 22-time Grand Slam champion, has Olympic gold and silver to his name, and is now in the running for a Gold Logie thanks to his hit game show Tipping Point. Todd watched the AO 1 Point Slam as host and commentator this year so is only too familiar with how the pros managed the pressure when the difference between success and failure is just one point.

Geraldine Viswanathan

Geraldine Viswanathan is a phenomenal Australian talent who has taken Hollywood by storm. The globally recognised actress’s career spans critically acclaimed indies, hit TV series, and major studio productions including Marvel Cinematic Universe's Thunderbolts, the hit comedy Blockers, and critically acclaimed HBO film Bad Education.

Pat Rafter

Pat Rafter, a two-time US Open champion and former world No.1, is one of Australia's most beloved sporting icons. Renowned for his sportsmanship and success on the international stage, Rafter now represents Australia in padel and has become a passionate advocate for the sport.

Jordan Smith

Jordan Smith became the breakout star of the AO 1 Point Slam, turning an unlikely opportunity into a fairytale sporting moment. The Sydney tennis coach stunned the tennis world by defeating Grand Slam champions Jannik Sinner and Amanda Anisimova en route to claiming the $1 million title, capturing the hearts of fans with his underdog journey, composure and competitive spirit.

The Padel Invitational presented by UBS will take place at the Sydney Opera House from 15-16 August 2026.
